Our house is six months old!

Hello there and welcome to a beautiful weekend! At least so far. ;) The sun is shining and I'm in a great mood! This week marks six months that we've been in our new house and I really can't believe it's been that long. And at the same time, it feels like we've lived here forever. From the first time we saw it, this house felt like home. We adore it!!

I'm sharing all of the projects I've tackled so far in one spot, so you can see if you missed something. I'm a little shocked at what I've accomplished. The back injury that hit last fall and then again in December really affected me emotionally, mentally and especially physically. I'm impressed with how much I've been able to do while healing. You may have noticed the projects have amped up since I've been feeling more like normal for the past month or so.

I'll share a link to each room and/or project under each photo! If there's a product you're wondering about, you will be able to find it there. If not, let me know in the comments!

Enjoy the six month before and afters! :)

The powder room was the first room I shared in this house:

I started a small makeover for this room a few weeks ago but haven't gotten much further yet:

We adore our HUGE mud room/laundry combo:

I just finished up a couple projects on the other side of the room last week:

I decorated our foyer early on and haven't changed a thing since!:

We love this space I've deemed the "morning room" because it's filled with morning light!:

I tackled some kitchen projects right away -- this room was a priority for me. I started by finishing the large butcher block island:

Then I hung and stained our open shelves:

Our pantry was a MESS for months. I grew tired of not being able to find food and finally organized it:

And I shared the full tour of the kitchen a few months ago. This room is a favorite of mine:

I haven't done too much in my office yet, other than hanging a new light I have yet to show you:

If you are feeling the Christmas spirit, you can check out my first holiday tour:

I've done a few projects in the basement! Here's the family room tour:

I added a table and a few accessories to the space as well:

I did a different kind of gallery wall down the basement stairs and I just LOVE how it turned out!:

And one of my favorite projects yet! The stained wall on the basement stairs:

I haven't done too much to our family room just yet. I think it's beautiful as is! But I did find some super inexpensive drapes and hardware I shared with you:

And I finished up another favorite project a couple weeks ago -- painting the fireplace!:

The master hasn't seen many projects yet either, but these nightstands turned out beautifully!:

And I shared the master bedroom tour with you here:

I've been focused on our son's room lately, and finished up the DIY tufted headboard:

Still lots to do in here, but I'm loving the direction it's going! I added wood planks behind his bed and created a fun bed nook:

I've done some organizing too! I actually tackled these first because they were easier with my back:

And my favorite closet in the house!! Love this one in our mud room:

My master closet was an early project too. This is just the beginning!:

And of course, there have been plenty of random projects, including how I hide lamp cords:

This little hallway got a simple gallery wall, and I share how to easily hang frames with two hooks!:

I haven't shared our master bathroom tour just yet -- I haven't done much in here yet! But I did share how I added a beautiful fixture just using a lamp shade!:

This tutorial for getting super large black and white prints is SO helpful to know!:

I made a cute little bathroom sign for the powder room:

And finally, I installed landscaping lights outside and shared how easy it is to do!:

Well there you go!! Hope you enjoyed the update! Here's to another six months of fun house projects! As always, thanks for joining me on this ride! :)
