Front Porch Sign and Camp Christmas

We’ve been very busy lately at The Collective lhe + Makery. We had a really fun front porch sign class with a really fun group! The classes and workshops have really taken off, and we love seeing how creative everyone can be! My favorite thing is to have people in our workshops that say they aren’t creative or artistic, and then make something really amazing!

This was the sample I showed the group. They had the choice from happy holidays, merry and

bright, and welcome.

I found this  redcolor of satin enamels by Americana Decor, and I have to say, it’s one of my favorite red colors ever. Plus, it’s perfect for something that’s going to sit outside. I’ve been painting a lot of things this color. I even painted a pair of old rubber boots the other day.

The two house class went really fast! And the front porch signs turned out really nice! You can see the end results on our Facebook page.

Camp Christmas at The Collective lhe. Pretty holiday retail display idea

When everyone left late last night, I snapped a few pictures of “Camp Christmas” with the lights off, and the holiday music was still playing. It was a really pretty and serene, and a nice way to end the day.

If you’re in the area, stop in to take a class or shop some of our fun and amazing holiday decor. We’ve had a lot of questions about how to shop with us if you are not in the area. We are working on an on-line shop, but that won’t be until after the new year! Until then, if you’re near Chicago, stop in and visit our little town of Lisle and visit us!
